'Bae Ji-hwan 1-ball' Pittsburgh loses 8th straight, falls to 4th in NL Central...Hanwha's Turkmen Solopo

Bae Ji-hwan was happy with one out. It wasn't enough to prevent Pittsburgh's eighth straight loss.

Bae Ji-hwan (Pittsburgh Pirates) started at second base in the eighth inning against the Chicago Cubs at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on May 21 (ET) and went 0-for-2 with a 오래된 토토사이트 walk and a strikeout. He is batting .259 on the season.

Bae couldn't save Pittsburgh, either. In the bottom of the second inning, with the score 0-0, he walked and stole second base. He was retired on a 93 mph grounder to shortstop at 2B1S off Cubs starter Marcus Stroman. Trailing 0-2 in the bottom of the fifth, he struck out swinging on an outside pitch from Stroman with the bases loaded. It was well out of the strike zone, but he was fooled.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, down 0-2, Bae picked off Stroman's cutter on a full count. The Cubs' leadoff man, Mike Tuckman, a former member of the KBO's Hanwha Eagles, hit a wedge-right solo shot in the top of the eighth. 안전놀이터
