 Pittsburgh Pirates multiplayer Bae Ji-Hwan (24) singles to center field. The team was held scoreless for 24 consecutive innings, snapping an eight-game losing streak and dropping to fourth place in the National League.

The Pittsburgh offense was largely silent in the bottom of the seventh, failing to capitalize on runners on second and third. They were brought to their knees in the top of the eighth. They gave up a solo shot to leadoff hitter Mike Tuckman to go 0-3 and a sacrifice fly to Seiya Suzuki with the bases loaded to go 0-4.


Pittsburgh fell to 0-4 on the day, snapping an eight-game losing streak. Their record dropped to 34-38 on the season, good for fourth place in the National League Central.
